Group members help start Food Systems Network

Amber Heckelman, Dana James, and Victoria Ostenso are among the co-founders of the Food Systems Network, with the support of the Liu Institute for Global Issues and Centre for Sustainable Food Systems. The Food Systems Network (FSN) is comprised of students, faculty, and community partners whose research, work, and/or interests focus on one of the many aspects of the food system. The overall goal of this network is to increase collaboration and facilitate interdisciplinary conversations about critical problems facing our food system, locally and globally. On 14 September 2017, the FSN hosted  a workshop on how to do Decolonizing Research, as part of the Future of Food Global Dialogue Series.
